Made my eyes water and I should have known better

Everyone raves about this so I bought it without thinking, which is unusual for me because I normally check ingredients first. About an hour after applying my eyes started watering and I had a slight stinging sensation that didn't go away until I removed it. I think there's something in the formula my eyes don't agree with. I gave the tube to a friend who has zero issues with it. Lesson learned, just because something is hyped doesn't mean it's right for sensitive eyes.
